With its vast tracts of endless forest, scarce roads and pervasive Otherman presence, Forn is sparsely populated and relies largely on timber. Lomen, Ruhurdh, Bemmel, and perhaps even Parathi dwell in the congealed forest depths. Fornbury, the capital, is perhaps the only truly civilised respite - even there, it is impossible to ignore the high numbers of woodsfolk, and the slightly hostile attitude towards “Inlanders”. Folk are strongly independent and value hardiness and resourcefulness. Despite a number of excellent potential harbours, only Seaspray is of any size. It has well-developed ship-yards, and all ships built there are constructed in the unmistakable and supposedly unsinkable Melckian lines. Ibrumasilim is worshipped widely, with Sharm, Kiszen and Sipheny all having strong influences.
