Kressail-training is a highly-regarded art in Lonshire, and the large, predatory eaglish birds are eagerly sought by noblemen even from outkingdom. Almost held sacred, Kressail-training is a jealously guarded art, and outsiders will have to convince the locals of their worth if they hope to learn even its most widely known secrets. Lonsmen care little for the wealth or rank of an Outsider, judging people largely on their merits. There is a strong military tradition, and eve a corps of fighting eaglemen. The best sorts of light armour in Koronad come from Lonbury (the capital) and Velkbridge. There is little good agricultural land and many small isolated mountain communities. Kiszen, Siphey and Sharm are all held in highest regard.
