Stremshire is a shire at war within itself. The three main towns of Strem have strong clannish associations, and there is considerable rivalry between them - so much so, that the governance of the shire is more than typically bureacratic and complicated. Although feuds are said to be a thing of the past, everyone knows what happens behind the curtains... Texelin, the capital, is situated just inland from the coast, perched above the edge of briny coastal marshes. Sharm and Kiszen are widely worshipped deities.
