The true Valkshiremen are rightfully Paladians, and as such are generally held in poor regard. Most of the folk who have settled here are from Sallowshire, or have come from further afield to serve or swindle on the border. Ruhurdh are present in larger-than-usual numbers. A land of soldiers, smugglers and brigands . The capital, Sallowhaven, is a rather squalid, damp town, commoly held to be ruled by intrigue and corruption. The ruling Geanson family is ineffectual, and held in general disrepute.
