Small and central, Veckshire is the moderately prosperous remnant of a larger Barony, eaten apart by internal conflicts and an inflexible adhesion to tradition. As a result, its infrastructure is somewhat antiquated, with most of the longstanding noble families caught in the same round of arguments they were debating centuries ago. There are a wide variety of local festivals, with many celebrations particular only to the capital, Cormister, or its sister city of Clave. Agriculture and brewing are its most important economic pursuits.
