Two volcanic islands east of Mir, each about the size of Rhodes, with a climate reminiscent of the Falkland Islands. These unprepossessing isles have few natural resources and were unsettled until the glory days of the Seagoing Argandarr. Today, the stout race of phlegmatic Argandarr who dwell there are master seafarers, controlling the long, perilous, and lucrative trade route between Thiim and Great Nath. The Wolde-Hunting Fleets of Maran and Mulud are surpassed in size only by that of Thiim itself, and in valour by none; they hunt along the arctic coast of Mir in every season.
