Nehj Islands

The mollusc beds around these islands are the source of the perfume-stuff of the same name, malodorous to humen but highly prized by the T’sai Lho. The islands themselves are arid, with a sparse landcover of thorn-trees, and historically subject to the mercantile city of Thiim in the far north of Mir, though the affinities of their inhabitants (T’sai lho, Cirilians, and Argandarr) are rather with the coastal lands at their own latitude. Due to their isolation, they have maintained many ancient and curious customs now long vanished from the Eleven Cities.
