Urmland

Urmland, the southernmost large landmass of Tsai, has never been of any great importance. Its interior is largely glaciated, except where it is criss-crossed by forbidding mountain rangess, and settlement is confined to a thin fringe of marginal evergreen woodland. In the winter season, it is foolhardy in the extreme to travel to or from Urmland across the furious southern ocean. There is wealth to be had even in its most remote and desolate regions, however: some of Tsai’s richest veins of gold and starmetal. When the Sea Argandarr were at their peak, the few Lomen and Ruhurdh of Urmland were subjugated by the Sea-Kings of Vulk, and the mines of Urmland became the burial place for countless slaves. In modern times there are a few small settlements of Ensladish and Aradish folk, Lomen and Humen. Urmland is about the same size as Honshu or Great Britain (240 000 km2)
