The name of this suburb comes from the battle in which Darxu Hev was taken by the Omfalan crusaders, which was fought on this site, and narrowly won by a small company of archers. There is a fine monument to the fallen within a walled park, little visited in these times. Archer’s Field is the wealthiest suburb outside the three traditional homes of wealth and power in Ag-Darxes (Eleven Hills, Monaxes, and Hastur’s Grove), home to many successful merchants and bureaucrats.
