The greatest temples, the oldest palaces (now turned into scribing halls for thousands of Imperial clerks), the finest and costliest markets of Tixryn; these are all jammed into the Imperial City, sandwiched between the busy waterfront and the mansions of Eleven Hills. The chief hospitals of Ag Darxes are here, as is the Great Ossuary, and the Arena established for the Baronial Games. Those people who dwell among this greatness - and they are quite numerous, if cramped in out of the way corners, are poorish in the main, including many T’sai lho and representatives of the more extreme monotheist sects.
