One of the three Episiarchies of Great Tixryn, it contains many Baronies great and small. It is more populated than Husyfra, with the bulk of the inhabitants along the coasts and the southern river valleys. It stands far above the other Episiarchies in that it contains Ag-Darxes, the enormous and opulent capital of the Empire.
Darxes is approximately 600 km from north to south and 250 km wide. It is watered by four major rivers- from north to south, these are the Ath, the Pon, the Blue Aglak, and the Green Aglak. The first three of these arise in the Salgur hills, and the last in the Nine Bird Hills. The Aglaks join 50 km from their mouth. On the south eastern corner, Darxes touches the Farrid Hills. Besides these few uplands, Darxes is a flat country, becoming rolling north of the Pon.
