Broadband update!

9:15 am: No parcels with line filters and wireless routers have arrived.

Hmm.

Have decided to stay at work and pretend I care about anything other than getting home and hooking up gadgetry. May need to get hepped up on goofba- er, coffee. In order to maintain feverish state of anticipation, you understand.

Should I mention that in the Great Beyond (i.e. my new place), I will be able to get premium wireless broadband at rather discounted prices?
Normally I wouldn't gloat, but you are not my DM anymore. So there.

Broadband won't save you from auction house lag, Dave! Though I gather horde has less of an AH issue than Lagforge does.

I managed to get Amanda hooked on the game while she and Chris were visiting - and I'm kinda looking forward to seeing Caillan in the game :)

Instances are great fun - though I've reached the running them over and over stage, trying to get pieces of my class set to drop (only have the shoulder so far). Need better gear before we try to raid Molten Core and lay eyes on the dread Onyxia.

Guilds are best source of parties - the challenge is finding a good guild.

Evil tormentors!

So Emma, gonna get a copy of WoW and join us online? There's smiting to be done. We won't even mind if you set things on fire [grin].

Andrea - are you all on the Hellscream server? We're planning to join you there as soon as we get ourselves back in the game. Maybe we should make our own guild - sounds like we're not far off having enough players that we know...

Well, I'm hoping Amanda et al will be on Hellscream when she succeeds in getting a copy of the game. I'm already in a guild there (The Illuminati), which is always happy for new members - just send me (Therian) a tell if you want in.

I also created my very own Hoardie over on Circle of C and will start saving to contribute to the exhorbitant cost of a guild charter. [There's this great octopus pic you can put on the tabards which would be really cool with a Cthulhu-theme guild name :D ]

Oh I think we can do something Cthulhu-ish... I'll talk to Jimbo.
