I forgot to mention that I have a new haircut that makes me look like Mark Antony (except, y’know, probably on the whole not as good looking as James Purefoy).

That is all.

Late edit: Andrea’s comment is, of course, on the money:

  1. If you’re going to use lolcat speech, you need to post a picture.

  2. Follow-up thought after posting that photo: nose also looks pretty Roman. Also, shaving on weekends should not be optional.

  3. “Immensely brave, handsome, and dashing, Mark Antony is loved by his men and adored by women. Arrogant and impulsive, he is impatient with political niceties beyond rousing a mob or charging full tilt at an enemy.”

    what price tonsorial determinism?

  4. I like how that sentence implies that the concept of political nicety somehow encompasses reckless infantry actions.

  5. yes, i liked that too. although i think sentence two doesn’t quite manage to attain the same level of ambiguous excellence as sentence one, which surely marks one of the all time high points in the art of captioning.

[argh. stupid laptop battery. stop beeping at me!]
